How to record the desktop screen or video calls

Wondershare UniConverter can be used as a screencasting application as well. The built-in Screen Recorder tool allows you to record your computer screen. Post recording, you can make necessary adjustments to the saved clip like trimming, cropping, adding watermarks, inserting subtitles, etc. from within Wondershare UniConverter itself. Here’s how you can use Screen Recorder that Wondershare UniConverter has:

Step 1 Launch Wondershare screen recorder.

Start Wondershare UniConverter on your Windows PC (a Windows 10 is used here for reference), click Screen Recorder from the left pane of the interface, click the Camera icon to start the recording or click the down-facing arrow next to the Camera icon present at the top-left area of the center panel and click Screen Recorder.

select screen recorder

Step 2 Select the capture area and audio sources.

Ensure that Full Screen is selected in the drop-down list in the capture area at the left of the Wondershare Screen Recorder panel. Alternatively, select Custom from the list, and select an area on the screen or app that you want to record. You can also enter the values in the W and H fields manually to set a custom recording area. Note: Check the Lock Aspect Ratio box to set the capturing area proportionally.

From the Record Timer section, check the Start manually and end after box, and set the duration to automatically stop capturing the screen when the defined threshold time is reached. Alternatively, check the Start and end on schedule box and define your preferred values in the Start time and Stop time fields to automatically start and stop the screen recording process respectively. Note: To avoid any conflicts or configuration overlapping, the app allows only one box to be checked at a time.
