How to Record Audio

Recording the audio is useful when you are preparing interactive videos, walkthroughs, audiobooks, or merely adding a voice-over to the screencast tutorials to explain a specific process or functioning of a program. Besides, such recordings are also helpful when you want to become a professional voice artist, and as a beginner, want to practice and improve the modulations in your tone while speaking before a microphone. Wondershare UniConverter gives you an ultimate platform for all the above scenarios and many more with the help of its built-in Audio Recorder tool. Here’s how you can use the feature to record your voice:

Step 1 Launch the audio recorder.

Launch Wondershare UniConverter, and select the Screen Recorder from the left panel. Click the drop-down arrow present next to the Camera icon at the top-left area of the center panel and click Audio Recorder from the list that appears.

select audio recorder

Step 2 Select the output and input devices.

Choose your preferred speaker and microphone from the Output and Input drop-down lists, respectively.

Step 3 Start and stop the recording.

Click the REC button to start recording your voice, click Stop when you are done, and then close Audio Recorder to get back to the main interface. You can access the recorded file by clicking Open from the available list in the Screen Recorder window.
